Even if I try to recommend a perfume, scents are so personal. What works for me, might not be liked by you. One surefire way to recommend a perfume, is by looking at the most popular fragrances. More specifically, the top 10 best selling perfumes in the world.

Best Ladies Perfume

There is a wide range of perfumes in the top 10 list. Surely, you will find your favorite scent in this list.

From the floral based to the spicy scent, this list will take you on a fragrance-filled adventure, one aroma at a time.

Scroll below for the top 10 best selling perfumes in the world.

Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum

Baccarat Rouge was released in 2015 and has become a cult favorite. It is one of my favorite scents, and I love to wear it for date night or a night out.

It’s the ultimate scent. The opening notes greet you with a harmonious blend of saffron and bitter almond, delicately balanced with the freshness of jasmine.

As the fragrance evolves, the heart notes unfold, revealing the exquisite combination of radiant cedarwood and the ethereal floral embrace of jasmine and orange blossom.

The Baccarat Rouge creates a symphony of warmth and sensuality that dances on the skin.

Chanel N°5 Eau de Parfum

One of the most iconic scents of all time.

The floral notes of jasmine and rose and the blend aldehydes are perfectly balanced with the woody and amber undertones, creating a rich and complex aroma that is simply irresistible.

The base notes, sandalwood and patchouli, peak through as it dries down. The vanilla peaks through ever so slightly, but adds a subtle, but crucial, warmth and sweetness.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

The name says it all.

The perfume exudes a bouquet of floral notes. The top notes of bergamot and green tea give the scent a citrusy, refreshing vibe, while the middle notes of jasmine, rose, and orchid the fragrance a romantic and feminine touch.

The base notes of patchouli and musk add a hint of earthiness to the fragrance that keeps it from being too sweet.

Besides the warm patchouli, there is a grounding vanilla scent that peaks through in the fragrance.

Dior J’adore Parfum d’Eau

The Dior scent is a blend of roses, orchids, and lilies. It has a touch of mandarin orange and melons incorporated into the fragrance.

It is a clean and elegant white floral scent for those looking for a sophisticated scent.

Creed Aventus For Her

The fragrance from The House of Creed is a pristine, fresh crispness that mellows into a fruity floral sensation.

Green apple, lemon and bergamot mixed with pink berries and patchouli open this scent, paving the way for radiant rose and pineapple and peach before settling into a moodier base of sandalwood, musk and ambergris.

It’s clean, crisp and sweet but not very feminine.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

This floral based perfume has different facets of fruit, patchouli with the vanilla base.

Upon first spritz the sweet blackberry notes come through. As it dries, it turns into a warmer floral scent, and finally settles on the skin as a slightly woody and powdery note. The vanilla that continues throughout is gentle and soft and is well-balanced with the other notes.

La Vie Est Bells is unique in that the scent blends with the skin to make it a unique personal scent.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

This captivating fragrance weaves together the intoxicating essence of coffee, delicate white flowers, and velvety vanilla, evoking an aura of allure.

The opening notes of coffee are bold setting the stage for the symphony of fragrances that follow. As the fragrance settles, the scent of a bouquet of ethereal white flowers comes through. Delicate and enchanting, these floral notes add an air of femininity. The warmness of vanilla peaks through at the end.

This scent has a sense of mystery and warmness.

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia

The Acqua di Gioia is a beautifully crafted blend of floral notes that are perfectly balanced, making it a perfect fragrance for everyday wear.

The scent opens with lemon which gives it an invigorating and energizing feel.

As the fragrance settles on the skin, the heart notes of jasmine and warm cedarwood become more prominent, adding a soft and feminine touch to the scent.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum

It shouldn’t be a surprise to find two Chanel fragrances on this list.

One of the main things that sets Coco Mademoiselle apart from other fragrances in the Chanel line is its strong citrus top notes.

Bergamot, orange, and grapefruit give the scent a bright and refreshing opening that is light. As the fragrance settles on the skin, the heart notes emerge, which include rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. The base notes are dominated by sweet amber, vanilla, and musk.

Dior Miss Dior Eau de Parfum

There is a timeless elegance to the second Dior perfume to appear on this list, Miss Dior.

From the first spray, Miss Dior captivates with its vibrant, citrusy top notes of Calabrian bergamot. This initial brightness seamlessly transitions into the heart of the fragrance, a delicate bouquet of roses, lily of the valley and jasmine, which exudes femininity.

The final notes of patchouli bring a warmth and to the fragrance, leaving an intoxicating trail that is like butter on the skin.

The magic of Miss Dior extends beyond its scent.

The packaging itself is an ode to luxury, with a charming bow adorning the bottle’s neck. It is no wonder this perfume makes the top 10 best selling perfumes in the world.
